The OZEANEUM, part of the German Oceanographic Museum in Stralsund, combines contemporary architecture with a setting shaped by the historic character of the city's harbor. Designed by Behnisch Architekten, the museum draws inspiration from the movement and forms of the sea, with a flowing exterior and light-filled interior spaces that guide visitors through exhibitions exploring the marine environment of the Baltic and North Seas.

The building's distinctive appearance is defined by its sweeping curved surfaces, creating a strong contrast with the surrounding historic architecture. In 2010, the OZEANEUM received the European Museum of the Year Award, recognizing both the museum experience and its contribution to the city.

CIG was responsible for the engineering, production, and installation of the museum's distinctive 3D-curved jumbo panels. The large steel panels were precisely formed to create the continuous curved surfaces required by the architectural design, translating the sea-inspired concept into the finished building.
