Located along the Danube, Bálna Budapest combines the city's historic architecture with contemporary design to create a vibrant destination for culture, commerce, and community. Nicknamed "The Whale," the building's flowing form reflects its namesake while symbolizing the connection between Buda and Pest, as well as the relationship between Budapest's rich heritage and its future.

CIG contributed to the realization of the project by engineering and producing the building's distinctive 3D-curved aluminum panels. Finished with a unique blasted surface, the panels enhance the sleek, sculptural appearance of the façade while meeting the project's demanding architectural requirements.

Today, Bálna Budapest stands as one of the city's most recognizable contemporary landmarks, demonstrating how innovative engineering and craftsmanship can complement historic surroundings.
