Double star made of Aluminum

Designed by Yinka Shonibare, this vibrant 26-foot-tall sculpture stands proudly at the Gene Leahy Mall in Omaha. Crafted from solid aluminum, it has a striking monolithic presence, capturing the movement of fabric caught in the wind. We are proud to have contributed to its engineering, fabrication, and initial surface treatment in collaboration with the artist.

Fenix is Rotterdam’s international art museum dedicated to stories of migration, housed in a restored historic warehouse on the Katendrecht quay, once a departure point for millions of migrants. Designed by Ma Yansong of MAD Architects, the museum stands on ground defined by movement, memory, and transformation.
