Roof For Stray Thoughts
NSW Australia
Located atop Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney, Roof for Stray Thoughts is a sculptural installation by Studio Olafur Eliasson. The work consists of an organically flowing canopy formed by interwoven ringlets, constructed from coated steel and mirror-polished stainless steel. Visible from afar, it creates a distinctive presence within the city’s skyline while offering a reflective and immersive experience on the roof terrace.
CIG contributed to the realization of the installation through the engineering, production, pre-assembly, and transport of the structure, translating its complex geometry into a seamless composition of light and reflection.
